COVID 19 Policies & Procedures

To our valued patients, 

Prior to your appointment please complete the REQUIRED COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire that is sent via the booking software 2 hours prior to your appointment time.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS prior to arriving for your appointment:


Screening: Digital completion of the Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire. If not completed in advance, we can text your phone the link while you wait in the parking lot. It only takes 30 seconds to complete.

Forms: Intake forms and statements for treatment will be sent electronically and must be returned electronically to minimize the amount of paper changing hands.

Masks: We ask that all patients wear their own masks. If you do not arrive with your own mask, we will have masks available. Staff will wear a mask for the entirety of the appointment.


Physical Distancing: Please don’t enter the clinic prior to your scheduled treatment time. If you arrive early, please wait in your car and call or email the clinic letting us know you’re in the parking lot. We will call you when you can enter the clinic prior to your scheduled time.

Contactless Payments: We are attempting to Direct Bill as many insurance companies as possible if the patients plan will allow for it. We are also encouraging patients to sign-up for Jane Pay (out clinic software’s payment program) that allows us to direct bill patient’s credit cards. We also have the “TAP” system enabled on our Point of Sale Machine, to avoid keypads.

Clinic Changes: We has spaced out all reception area chairs to be spaced out by 6ft. We have removed all magazine, tables, and coffee machines to reduce transmission risks.

Staff: The staff perform a screen prior to each shift to ensure they are healthy to treat you!

Hand Hygiene: Use hand sanitizer upon entry into the clinic, before and after payment transactions, and before you exit the clinic.

Bathrooms: Please use your own bathroom prior to arrival at the clinic. Washrooms are high transmission areas; thus, we are closing the clinic bathrooms, except for emergencies.

Companions: To minimize the amount of contact, only those attending treatment will be allowed in the facility, please leave your friend or spouse at home. Exceptions are two or more patients in the same household that are both getting treatment, parents of children getting treatment, parents with treatment and no daycare option.

Clothing: If possible, please arrive at the clinic in appropriate clothing for your appointment.

Personal Belongs: Please leave ALL non-essential personal belongings, including jackets (weather permitting), water bottles, and coffee cups!

 

BSSC may look a little different for the time being, but we can ensure to you that our commitment to high-quality patient care is still same as it has always been.
